Attractive gold color with brown tints.Very expressive nose, fairly classic for a 40-year-old Armagnac: walnuts, gingerbread, liquorice, tobacco, leather. The second nose is fresher, with slightly mentholated aromas. The armagnac is full-bodied on the palate, very well balanced between tannins, alcohol and aromas (quince jam, licorice, dried fig).
